At Night of Champions, WWE’s most out-of-control turf war will continue when The Wyatt Family clashes with Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and a partner of their choosing.
The jubilation of Reigns and Ambrose’s SummerSlam victory over the maniacal Bray Wyatt and his loyal follower Luke Harper was short lived when, the next night on Raw, the two rebels were introduced to The Wyatt Family’s newest member — Braun Strowman.
The gargantuan Strowman imposed his will on Reigns and Ambrose, decimating them with ease — a fate neither Reigns nor Ambrose is accustomed to. As Strowman joined by the side of Harper and his new leader, Wyatt made it clear post-ambush that this evolving war had just entered its next phase.
The following week on WWE’s flagship show, Reigns and Ambrose got another dose of Strowman as he made his in-ring debut against The Lunatic Fringe with The Big Dog in his corner. Although Ambrose fought valiantly, the end result was the same as the week before — an absolute massacre from The New Face of Fear and his deranged accomplices.
Now, with Night of Champions approaching, how will Ambrose and Reigns fare as this ongoing Hatfield and McCoy’s-like conflict continue? Will the former Shield brethren and their third be able to break the aura of invincibility that currently surrounds Braun Strowman? Or will Sister’s Abigal’s black sheep give The Eater of Worlds a definitive edge in this wicked war?
