Empress Njamah bags award for charity works

Long gone are the days the media feasted on ebony beauty Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah because of her many activities that were dubbed controversial. Now the Chief Executive of House of Empress, an Abuja boutique, has turned a new leaf and there seems hardly anything untoward that could be heard of her.
Just days ago, I was poking her jokingly that all we used to know about the fiery Empress has gone with the wind. Then, she had asked me rhetorically if she had truly changed and I replied her, the old Empress is dead.

“Omo, that’s the best, I swear” she replied sarcastically. “Helps stay away from people like you who love to write. Now, it’s my charity works that bring me out if not …”, she said jokingly, trailing off.
Her charity works indeed have been the centre of her focus in recent times. With her House of Empress Foundation which caters for the needy, the orphans and the displaced people. Uncharacteristically, if there is something to be heard of her, it is only when she does something humanitarian through her Foundation.

Moreso, it seems her efforts haven’t gone unnoticed as she was honoured for her charity works with an award at the Falconet Beauty Pageant Nigeria penultimate Saturday. Veteran athlete Mary Onyali, Rita Edochie and former Falcon coach were also honoured.

Congratulations my dear!!!
