Sexy video of mayoral candidate shared online to embarrass her but instead it makes her more pupular

A raunchy tape of a mayoral candidate stripping was released by a suspected political opponent just days from the election, but far from knocking her chances, the unemployed 21-year old has seen her popularity soar. The video of Valeria Prokopenko, which she said she made to compete at a beauty pageant, was released anonymously to embarrass her but after it was shared by thousands of fans, it stoked her popularity and now young people have vowed to vote for her on election day October 25.

The unemployed law graduate is running for the mayor’s seat in the city of Odessa, in south-western Ukraine's Odessa Oblast region.
