'Khloe and Lamar have jointly gone to court to dismiss their divorce case, because they want to stay husband and wife ... TMZ has learned. Khloe's lawyer Laura Wasser went before a judge Wednesday morning, asking a judge to withdraw the papers they both signed to end their marriage. The file was sitting in a pile waiting to be processed and signed by a judge. The judge granted Wasser's request and the file is now dead.'

The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani today bailed out a young man, who was jailed after a quarrel with his boss, from a police cell. He shared some of the details on facebook:

'Today, I visited and bailed out a young man who was detained in a police cell for 3 days over a fracas with his Boss. He lost so much weight. His eyes were swollen as he was beaten by bully inmates. He looked frightened and traumatised. This was a Boy some few days ago making jest of our prison experience on Twitter. I actually thought he will be as tough in the Cell as he was on twitter. Anyway, sometimes we need personal experience to appreciate and to learn.'

These shocking photos were taken during the annual vegetarian festival in Phucket, held at the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. Slitting open their cheeks and forcing everything from guns, to electrical wire, to giant knives and even axes through the holes, were part of the ritual.

A pastor in South Africa has abandoned the pulpit for a coffin, literally. According to church member and former drug dealer, 28 year old Aphiwe Nqevu 'brought the coffin to illustrate to people who fail to embrace Jesus as the son of God that they will go to hell and face eternal death.

They said they use coffin to 'urge people to embrace God because once death occurs, it is too late to decide'. People in the area protested, saying it was scaring children and it was disrespectful.

Meet the first chicken to tweet

A Chicken restaurant has taken public relations to new heights by putting a chicken in charge of its tweeter account. In the publicity stunt, the chicken's keyboard was covered in chicken feed to ensure it keeps pecking away. The company says it will keep it up until the chicken types an intelligible five letter word and takes a place in Guinness World Book Of Records as the first chicken to do so.

So far it has only managed one word, 'bum'. However not everyone sees the funny side with animal rights activist saying the restaurant uses the chicken to unwittingly promote the slaughter of fellow chicken, according to TIME magazine: "Betty is unwittingly working to promote a firm that exists only to execute and barbecue her brethren for human consumption."

A man in China had to be rescued after getting his arm stuck in a toilet brimming with poo while trying to retrieve his treasured iPhone. He had just done number two and was pulling up his trousers when the phone slipped out and into the toilet. He promptly plunged his hand down the loo in a desperate but ultimately futile attempt to retrieve his phone, he got stuck and called for help.

Women protest Kanu’s arrest, demand his release

ASABA-PROTESTERS, Tuesday, stormed the entrance of Delta State Government House, Asaba condemning the arrest and detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.

Gathered under the aegis of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Delta State chapter, the protesters, mainly women, demanded the immediate release of Kanu, describing his arrest as uncalled for and totally unacceptable.

Speaking during the protest, Secretary of IPOB, Delta State chapter Nnenna Nwaoha, said: “The reason for the protest is for Nnamdi Kanu to be released; we have suffered enough in the hands of the Nigerian Government and we are no more comfortable with it.

Nigerian man arrested in South Africa for possession of drugs

A 35-year-old Nigerian man was arrested in Mokopane, South Africa, on October 15,2015, for being in possession of crystal meth, rock and cocaine to the value of more than R200 000. The arrest followed info that was supplied by crime intelligence and members of the K9 unit. Provincila Col Ronel Otto said the police also confiscated a laptop, three cell phones and cash from the Nigerian.

Ministerial Screening: Senate screens ministerial nominee, Adebayo Shittu

Adebayo Shittu, a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General from Oyo state has been screened by the senate. During his screening, Shittu denied claims that he was indicted for religious intolerance. He said he is not an extremist or fanatic but respects God and believes every Nigerian should be morally upright and work towards a saner and more Godly society.

He called for the advancement of free education to effectively curb youth excesses and restiveness. He also called for religion to be made compulsory in our constitution.

He said the senate should have a chaplain and an imam so as to encourage religious activities in the country.

Asked what reforms he will carry out if he was made Attorney-General, he said training and re-training was important. He also said car loans must be introduced so as to spur the workers to work more effectively.

On Boko Haram, he condemned their activities, said it was not Islamic and refrained from talking much about them for fear of being killed as has been the case of other Islamic leaders that have publicly spoken about the sect.
